I read this list every morning to remind me of what I believe in:
- everyone should have a list like this one:
- follow the flow of life
- see with your heart-listen to your inner self
- be positive
- make decisions for yourself not based on others
- do what makes yourself happy but consider others along the way
- be aware of people pleasing
- don't change fate ride with it
- follow your path not someone else's
- selfishness leads down to a pit of ego
- karma.
- life is choices; one can always change there mind
- believing in something greater than yourself allows one to be outside of themselves instead of trapped in their head
- life is suffering; get used to it
- no one is alone; separation does not exist...when someone believes in separation, they buy into ego which then needs to be maintained leading to fear
- inflecting cruel intentions on others only hurts oneself
- two-facedness... make up your mind on what person you want to be
- omission is lying
- be true to yourself
- "imagination & creativity reign superior to science and reason"
- flow inspirations
Its a fast student to be so young and accept that a belief system is important and can be practiced. That is the practice path. It is impressive to see a public blog that takes a position about a belief system. That takes guts and I admire that because it signals being right on the spot present. Once more & even more important. I know that this belief system signifies a change of mind, and that is of paramount importance. One is no longer prisoner to their past by their own authentic decision to be authentic and move forward. This is the nature of the practice path, to be a fellow traveler with others that have their own beliefs and to honor that by choice.
ReplyDeletego with the flow, be an optimist, do what makes you happy, imagination and creativity...i like your style, elin!
ReplyDeleteThis is an excellent concept, a belief system practiced to gain a new experience. Glad you shared this for others to enjoy. I am making a list and implementing it in the morning quiet time. Thank you for this Elin.
